GoGo VELO startet mit der Mission "Ride me to the moon" !

Nachdem die erste Ausgabe von "GoGo VELO" mit der Mission "An 42 Deeg ronderëm d'Welt" 2024 ein Erfolg war - zusammen umrundeten die Teilnehmer fast 4 x den Erdumfang - will die nationale Fahrradkampagne noch höher hinaus:

Die neue Mission lautet "Ride me to the moon". Zusammen sollen alle Teilnehmer 384.400 km (durchschnittliche Distanz Erde-Mond) mit dem Fahrrad zurücklegen. Parallel dazu wird ein Teamwettbewerb unter den Luxemburger Gymnasien und der Uni Luxemburg organisiert, die eigene Teams bilden können. Das Hauptziel der Kampagne GoGo VELO - eine Initiative von ProVelo asbl und Klima-Bündnis Lëtzebuerg mit der Unterstützung des Ministeriums für Mobilität und öffentliche Arbeiten - bleibt es natürlich, das Fahrrad als alltägliches Verkehrsmittel weiter zu fördern und zu etablieren.

Alle Teilnehmer*innen sind aufgerufen, das Fahrrad so oft wie möglich als Fortbewegungsmittel im Alltag und in der Freizeit zu nutzen. Motivierend hierfür wurden wiederum spannende Herausforderungen in die Kampagne eingearbeitet, welche - falls erfolgreich abgeschlossen - die Teilnehmer*innen für die Verlosung toller Preise qualifizieren!

So gibt es u.a. wieder gratis Einlasse ins Wellness, Gutscheine, einen Mini-Goldbarren oder Tickets für Konzerte zu gewinnen! Die vollständige Liste der möglichen Gewinne und ihrer Sponsoren sind sowohl auf www.gogovelo.lu als auch in der App zu finden.

Für die Teilnahme ist das Herunterladen der "Radbonus II"-App erforderlich, in welcher sich die Radfahrer*innen mit dem Zugangscode "gogovelo" anmelden. In einem 2. Schritt können Schüler*innen, ihre Eltern und Lehrer*innen dann ein Team aussuchen, für welches sie Fahrrad-Km sammeln wollen.

Während der Fahrt einfach die App mit dem Tracking-Button starten – vom 22. April bis zum 31. Mai werden die geradelten Kilometer automatisch zur Gesamtmission, allen verfügbaren Herausforderungen sowie eventuell dem vorher ausgesuchten Team hinzugefügt.

Zusätzlich haben alle Teilnehmer*innen die Möglichkeit, über die App den Zustand der Fahrradinfrastruktur zu bewerten und so zu deren Verbesserung beizutragen – ein Einsatz, der sich definitiv lohnt!

Übrigens: im Herbst ist vorgesehen, eine 2. Kampagne GoGo VELO durchzuführen. Dann wird es Gemeinden und Regionen möglich sein, eigene lokale Herausforderungen zur nationalen Kampagne hinzuzufügen.

GoGo VELO démarre avec la mission « Ride me to the moon » !

Après le succès de la première édition de « GoGo VELO » en 2024 avec la mission « Le tour du monde en 42 jours» - ensemble, les participants ont fait presque 4 fois le tour de la circonférence de la Terre - la campagne nationale pour le vélo veut aller encore plus haut :

La nouvelle mission est « Ride me to the moon ». Ensemble, tous les participants doivent parcourir 384 400 km (distance moyenne Terre-Lune) à vélo. Parallèlement, une compétition par équipe est organisée entre les lycées luxembourgeois et l'Université du Luxembourg, qui peuvent former leurs propres équipes. L'objectif principal de la campagne GoGo VELO - une initiative de ProVelo asbl et Klima-Bündnis Lëtzebuerg avec le soutien du Ministère de la Mobilité et des Travaux publics - reste bien entendu de continuer à promouvoir et à établir le vélo comme moyen de transport quotidien.

Tous les participants sont appelés à utiliser le vélo aussi souvent que possible comme moyen de transport au quotidien et pendant leurs loisirs. Pour les motiver, des défis passionnants ont été intégrés à la campagne, qui, s'ils sont relevés avec succès, permettront aux participants de participer au tirage au sort de superbes prix !
Ainsi, il y aura à nouveau des entrées gratuites au wellness, des bons d'achat, un mini-lingot d'or ou des tickets de concert à gagner ! La liste complète des prix possibles et de leurs sponsors est disponible sur www.gogovelo.lu et dans l'application.

Pour participer, il faut télécharger l'application « Radbonus II », dans laquelle les cyclistes* s'inscrivent avec le code d'accès «gogovelo».

Dans un deuxième temps, les élèves, leurs parents et les enseignants peuvent choisir une équipe pour laquelle ils souhaitent accumuler des kilomètres à vélo.

Pendant le trajet, il suffit de lancer l'application en cliquant sur le bouton de suivi - du 22 avril au 31 mai, les kilomètres pédalés seront automatiquement ajoutés à la mission globale, à tous les défis disponibles et éventuellement à l'équipe choisie au préalable. 

De plus, tous les participants* ont la possibilité d'évaluer l'état de l'infrastructure cycliste via l'application et de contribuer ainsi à son amélioration - un engagement qui en vaut définitivement la peine ! 

D'ailleurs, une deuxième campagne GoGo VELO est prévue pour l'automne. Les communes et les régions auront alors la possibilité d'ajouter leurs propres défis locaux à la campagne nationale.

GoGo VELO starts with the mission ‘Ride me to the moon’ ! 

After the first edition of ‘GoGo VELO’ with the mission ‘Around the world in 42 days’ in 2024 was a success - together the participants circumnavigated almost 4 times the circumference of the earth - the national cycling campaign wants to go even higher: 

The new mission is ‘Ride me to the moon’. Together, all participants are to cover 384,400 kilometres (average distance Earth-Moon) by bike. At the same time, a team competition is being organised among Luxembourg's secondary schools and the University of Luxembourg, which can form their own teams. The main objective of the GoGo VELO campaign - an initiative of ProVelo asbl and Climate Alliance Lëtzebuerg with the support of the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works - is of course to further promote and establish the bicycle as an everyday means of transport. 

All participants are encouraged to use the bicycle as often as possible as a means of transport in everyday life and in their leisure time. To motivate them to do so, exciting challenges have once again been incorporated into the campaign, which - if successfully completed - qualify the participants for a prize draw with great prizes! 

For example, there are once again free admissions to the wellness centre, vouchers, a mini gold bar or tix for concerts to be won! The full list of possible prizes and their sponsors can be found both at www.gogovelo.lu and in the app. 

To take part, you need to download the ‘Radbonus II’ app, in which cyclists register with the access code ‘gogovelo’. In a second step, students, their parents and teachers can then choose a team for which they want to collect cycle kilometres. 

During the ride, simply start the app with the tracking button - from 22 April to 31 May, the kilometres cycled will automatically be added to the overall mission, all available challenges and possibly the previously selected team.

In addition, all participants have the opportunity to use the app to rate the condition of the cycling infrastructure and thus contribute to its improvement - a commitment that is definitely worthwhile! 

By the way: a 2nd GoGo VELO campaign is planned for the autumn. Municipalities and regions will then be able to add their own local challenges to the national campaign.
